Placental Abruption - placenta separates from the wall of the uterus denying oxygen to the baby.
Ectopic Pregnancy - pregnancy in which the fertilized ovum implants on many tissues other than the endometrial lining of the uterus
Placenta Previa - pregnancy in which the placenta is placed lower in the uterus (instead of the upper part), can cause bleeding in later pregnancy and birth by C-section may be necessary.
SIDS - Also known as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, it is the leading cause of death in infants over one month of age, its a sudden and unexpected death of an apparently healthy infant during sleep.
